A heritage-led project in partnership with a community organisation. The project aims to preserve and enhance the Grade II listed building, supporting vital building conservation repairs, alongside enhancements that will provide and encourage much needed inward investment. For some time the owners have been considering opening a museum on the site with the engines as the main attraction: with common interests already in place, the owners joined forces with Lea Valley Heritage Alliance to establish a new museum, which has the potential to be a significant local and regional heritage attraction.
